Villa Palmeras is one of 12 neighborhoods within the desirable, gated Prestancia Community on Palmer Ranch in Sarasota, Florida, home to the TPC at Prestancia.  Villa Palmeras's location is second to none: 6 miles from world-renowned Siesta Beach, and halfway between downtown Sarasota and Venice's "MainStreet" shopping district.  Convenient shopping (e.g. Costco, Publix, Target, Lowe's), dining, AMC Theatres, the YMCA, The Legacy Trail, and other amenities are all nearby. 

Villa Palmeras's park-like setting borders two Community ponds, Catfish Creek, and the 14th and 15th fairways of the TPC Stadium Golf Course, a 36-hole private country club and former host of the Chrysler Cup and the American Express Invitational.  TPC Prestancia is a designated Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary because of its commitment to protecting natural resources and wildlife habitats.  Golf Club membership is optional for Prestancia owners; social Club memberships also are available.

Villa Palmeras is exceptional among villas/condos in Prestancia in that front-door views from all entrances are of open, well-landscaped common areas, affording excellent privacy both in front and to the rear of the homes.  These private and luxurious views are very difficult to find in many other communities.

Villa Palmeras has 41 residences on two cul-de-sac streets, Camino Madera and Calle Serena, near the south end of Prestancia.  Amenities include two beautiful pools and a clubhouse for residents' use.  Villas contain 2 or 3 bedrooms in one- or two-story layouts, with c. 2,000-3,600 sq. ft. of living area.  Most villas share one neighboring wall.
